Step 5: Put the pinion gear from the motor through the hole in one of the servo gear plates. This was shown in the picture on the previous page.







Step 6: Slide the whole assembly: potentiometer-gear set-servo motor into the bottom chassis. Looking at the picture in Step 7, the potentiometer should be connected to the gear set where the arrow is pointing and fit in the box that is outlined.

Now things are getting a little tougher because you have to work between the top and bottom chassis plates.

Here is a picture to show the orientation of the servo gear set in the chassis. Remember that the potentiometer-gear set-servo motor have to all be installed in the chassis at once.

Step 7: reinstall the steering linkage. It should be orientated with the flat side facing down.
