Hi Everybody,
I have recently visited QFM, and I modded my Radio Controller with a Telescopic Antenna, I did not gain much range (I know my controller doesnt have a Crip Cap because I checked using the diagrams on QFM). Then I found out that there was a In Car Crip cap that was limiting the range of my car. My questions are:
1. Can I just make a connection between the two ends of the In Car Crip Cap without actually de-soldering it with a soldering iron? Will that bypass the Crip Cap?
[like taping a small wire across the connections? will that bypass the crip cap?]
2. Does anyone know why my friends Clone Bit-Charg that comes with a Telescopic Antenna radio control gets HUGE range? like 20 Feet of range???? Is it because it doesnt have the In Car Crip Cap?
[I'm not sure what brand his Clone Bit-Charg is but the controller is the round one, with a Telescopic antenna, and the charger in on the bottom of the controller instead of on the side like Tomy's.]
3. Will removing the onboard crip cap have any serious negative effects on the performance of the car??
[I know my friend who has a 35mhz Tomy Skyline can sometimes control my car!!!! will this be worse after removing the in car crip cap?]
My car is an Official Tomy 27mhz Honda NSX Type-R. I'm using the original controller, with a hop-up 2.2 motor.
Any comments will help, Thanks!
