Given that you haven't modified it visually. Then they're not going to do much about it, but you can usually get them to take stuff back that's even been played with on the inside.

Your problem sounds like total equipment failure though, and not your own, so you shouldn't have a problem.

the only thing i did t the inside was bearings and steering rods. some of the screws are stripped, will that matter?

No, but you may want to reinstall the stock parts so you can put the bearings, etc. on your new car.

I really want to learn what the cause of this problem is. It really can't be all that hard to fix.

that would suck if someone forgot to take the bearings out. 20 dollars down the drain. there is one problem though, i lost one of the suspension things. the black thing and the spring. i am hoping he/she want notice it but it they do just trade one from the new car.

What you probably did is shorted out the antenna to the batt leads or the motor leads. I did it twice with a plume of s Both cars had mods also and I had to take them off before I took it back. They should take it back and tell them what happened. Also, if you take out the batts and the rx crystal and disconnect the antenna from the lead you have less of a chance of shorting it out. If x-mods didn't have so many parts things like that would happen less. If you have money like "BC" and can buy several x-mods then you can setup cars for different conditions eliminating all the constant changing of parts.
