ss mt at T-R-U for 20bux... are they worth it?

im contemplating between the ss mt and the zipzaps mt... just saw the ssmt for the first time at toys-r-us,,, just want to know how good these are,, and can they be upgraded,, and if so what company would i look to for upgrades,, xmods,miniz??

i guess they only go about 4mph stock,,
