is a zip worth it
just read the subject, is a zip really worth teh 19.99 plus tax you pay for it. I haven't played with one since around january because mine broke. well i heard the newer ones are much better but i really dont know. i like the zips bodies more because they aren't looking like they were put in a vis and shortened.
but what i need to knwo is can it handle some high speed motors and is it a good modding machine. i was just at my local radio shack so i know what they have. the only thing i didn't see was teh tuner pack for 2f2f with the purple engine which doesn't botehr me for now cuz i will stick my 3.8 in it. but i am gonan get the skyline/s2k kit and maybe the charher/yenko camaro kit, probably even the yellow and orange engine kit..

i believe they are quite the modding tool. The expanded chassis really leaves room for nice things, and with the laymans tri cells, that thing is almost as roomy as an xbox controller *nerd joke.* Really tho, there are quite alot of things you can do with them. And the new circuit boards do pump more juice or something, all in all they are much better than the originals. They are definately a sound investment for me.

I was just getting ready to post the same thing.
microamp, u have posted pretty much the same thing in your last like 10-15 post. And they are all talking about your little buisness with FET's.

C'mon Micro_amps, I mean I'm obsessed with the Layman's Tricell, but do I constantly babble on and on about them? Calm down, this forum isn't for advertsing OR spamming. It's to share ideas! (and probably make friends lol)
Yeah, the ZZ is a good car. It's long, it doesn't spin out as easily, they have cars from 2F2F, and most of all, they have higher capacity batteries! But if you want more speed, try a K.I.T. racer. No resistors or anything, just straight away speed, and low gearing ratios! Throw in a Phast motor (you may have to swap pinion gears) and you're on your way to a 10 mph! Overall, ZZ's are good, but K.I.T.s are nicer.

That is the best thing! They go as far as you want! LOL and they are perfect for drag racing, if you put very grippy tires on the back!

zz, u gotta pay attention. notice how charlie said that he PREFERS rc over K.I.T. Kits are little electric cars that use very very similar motors and gears as bits to the point where they are near interchangeabl.
