Steering Q's

I'm thinking of getting one of these but I was playing with one in the store yesterday and the steering was horibly notchy and unresponsive, is this true of all the car or was this one just abused. I think it might have been seeing as the had the chassies of other cars that look liked thed been steped on, more than once.

I'd say that the steering was blotchy because you were playing with the car in a store full of electronics and fluorescent lights that cause interference. But the car may have been severely abused as well.
