Don't hold your breath for any Beemers
After the fiasco Tomy went through with the Mini Cooper, I doubt they will want to touch anything owned by BMW.

Micro RC sales fueled by spam?
Personally, I don't believe the main point of the article (mostly because I only happen to get 3-5 spam a week), but at least this article tells us what stores carry which OEM brands.

Base it on car scale
Bits are 1:64 scale, right?
So 500m / 64 = 7.8125m (25.63 feet)

Stering spring safety
If you slightly melt the top of the post that goes through the ring of the steering spring, the spring won't come off very easily. Be VERY careful doing this though.

Rally Bits...
If they made Ford Focus and Peugot 206 rally bits, the 206 would be cooler than the Focus. I know this mostly because a 206 will beat a Focus every time in Gran Turismo 3.

And because Ford...

How are you going to keep the idler gear in sync with the pinion, so when you re-engage the "clutch" the gear teeth don't start flying around inside the car?

Your right/left steering problem wasn't fixed by the rare earth magnet per se...it was fixed because you mounted it centered on the steering linkage. Your old magnet was off center.
