My motor names...
Here is my shot at naming the motors:
1.6= Street Stock
2.2= Bracket Racer
2.4= Pro Street
2.6= Super Stock
2.8= Pro Stock
3.0= Top Fuel
Or:
1.6= Stage 1
2.2= Fuelie
2.4= LT-1
2.6= Magnum
2.8= ZL-1
3.0= Hemi (as ZipZap "SS" said!)
All are car-related.

I think R-spec is a very good name. Why not simply call all the motors R-spec.
1.6 R-spec
2.0 R-spec
Another suggestion:
Why not do like AMD with their processors:
1.6+
2.0+

I don't see why so many names so far give a good name to the 1.6 making it sound fast.
Its slow, its not fast, its not what you want in your car. Why BS everyone? Call it the throwaway, cuz if you have a 1.6, time to upgrade.
