How many gear sets are there?
I just got my racer gears! The little Anime Shop shipped late, but they threw in this S-03 setting parts set, so that's okay (even though it's completely useless for a bit). The first thing I did (of course) was count all the little bumps on the gears, and I realized there's something missing! This is what I mean:
24 / 6 * 18 / 10 = 7.2 Cannonball
24 / 6 * 18 / 6 = 12 Sky Blue
23 / 7 * 18 / 6 = 9.86 Orange
22 / 8 * 18 / 6 = 8.25 Teal
21 / 9
20 / 10 * 16 / 7 = 4.57 Blue
19 / 11 * 16 / 7 = 3.95 Red
18 / 12 * 16 / 7 = 3.43 Green
Tiny has an icon for 6.57, and I've also heard there's a 6:1 gear set. Does anybody have these?
Edit: Added more gear sets!

I think they are on some clones. The pinion gear has a lot of teeth. Because of the bigger gears, the motor area is a bit bigger.

Yeah, beacause of some of the clones, there are some very non-standard gearsets floating around. Mostly from cars that are non-standard in the motor mount area.
I also would like to collect all the gearsets.
I'm missing the green 3.43:1 set and of course your "mystery set", but hopefully this weekend I'll be getting the 3.43:1 with one of the last two KITT racers I have stashed!
I haven't really played with the KIT gearsets with a dual cell. I tried to use them a while ago, but a single cell car just doesn't get 'em going very fast.
The wheels themselves however are killer. My first four KITT rears were broken up to either receive MS gearsets, or to be made into fronts!
I just made a dedicated dual cell charger for my cars so I have to trim the KIT rears up and see what a dual cell does with them.

According to all the post I've read, none of the motors have enough torque for 3.43. Let me know how it goes with a dual cell, it should be great! (That's why I bought them.)

I just aquired the two last KITT racers I stashed at K-Mart (6bux per)!
I now have all three KITT gearsets, and will be fiddling with them soon.
I will report.

I stuck some K.I.T. Racer rims on mine. Doesn't go very fast for some reason. Even giving it a hard push. I used the green gears with the lowest ratio.

Woo Hoo!
I'm really glad I didn't break that rear up!
Thanks for the news!

Cool!
Do you know if every Char-A comes with those gears? And could you count all the teeth for us? Thanks!
I'm gonna get some cars for my birthday, and as of right now, I think they're all going to be precious. But even then my gear collection will be incomplete, as I've heard of some cannonball's with 10 and 14 tooth pinion gears!

yes they do i have one and if you get the motor out it comes with an out and put it in a bit it has the nicest torqe and power
oh and the bit racer gears r pointless unless you have a really powerfull motor or duel cell if not your car migt even go slower than with lower gear set this is just my past experience
