Gun sound mod!!!
I got my T34 and Panther last week. I already made a mod. Using a voicemail greeting card.
I wanted to add a gun blast while firing... so i did
You'll be able to record your own gun sound with this and trigger it with the controller.
Works perfectly! Adds a lot of exitement to the battle
(disclaimer)
If you try to do this you will need some electronics experience. Don't blame me if you fry the controller.

Used a 6 volt relay to seperate the sound pcb signal and the trigger signal.
The (right) trigger must be removed of the controller and connected to the + side of the battery
and the + of the relay.
The switch contacts of the relay are connected where the trigger connections used to be.
The other contacts of the relay are used to trigger the sound pcb.

The right trigger is connected via the relay to the sound pcb.
Sqeezing the trigger will play the gun sound and the tank will recoil as normal.
The relay is needid to isolate the sound pcb from the normal trigger signal.
That's it for now. I hope you like it.

That is pretty damn cool. It looks like that speaker fits right in there like it was at home or something. That's cool.

Just modded my second controller. The nice recording feature allows me to change the
gunblast sound on the second controller.
So you hear wich tanks shoots due to their distinct sound.
Now i will look into adding a gun flare while shooting using a yellow led in the gunbarrel.
