Finally ran my Mini-X
I previously had problems my Mini-X. Burned out ESC, oversteering, etc. I send the ES-01 back for repair, got it back but never installed it. The car was just sitting in the basement collecting dust. So I got bored and strat tinkering with it yesterday. They must have done some upgrading to the parts or something. The ESC ran very cool this time, same set up with 5 cells. So I took it out, ran it on the driveway and had a blast.

7Sola, that is one of the nicest Xs I've ever seen! Where did you get the decals? What's under the hood?

Email me about the decals. I have a 1/25 scale converti Stang body that fits perfectly on the X. Actually 2 because I messed up the first one by clear coating acrylic with enamel. I'll post some pix of the body with another view of the chasis too.

decals can be reduced in size very easy. It just take alittle experience in what your doing. We used to do this all the time in university.

So the Rx is mounted on top of the right pair of cells? That Mustang is going to be a cool looking X! Leaving the top open should be good for motor cooling too.

yep, the Rx is mounted on top of the 2 cells on the right and that's why I am limited to 5 cells. Now that I got the X running, I wouldn't want to risk the ES-01 on 6 cells anyway.
One quick question, is there supposed to be a motor hold-down right in front of the rear pinion? Mine didn't come with it or maybe I lost it. The pionion keeps sliding back and I think the motor vibration is causing it. Where can I find this part?

the car only has one hold down for the motor twoards the back of the motor. You can add one where your talking about but it wont help. You need a new pinion gear as yours is not fitting the shaft tight anymore. They come in a set of 8 i think? and TRC should have them for sale.
