___ok if you want to use the original electrics to a bcg, you might want to have proportional control. I checked the speed of the tx with rx and it is possible to make propo with a stock receiver and a slight mod to the transmitter... If you look at the schematic of the tx, the buttons need connection to ground, easy, transistors.
___The only way i've thought of controlling it is with variable oscilators ie: a quad comparator, cause they can be all on, all off, everywhere between, and thier easy to adjust to make a center off. This makes it optimal for the speed-flyer because there might be too much control with all on input. I wouldnt weeken the actuators to lessen control, because what if you want to turn sharp so you dont hit a wall er a trash-can?
___With the chip im using, it has 4 comparators in it to mod to the 4 channel remote. Im gonna use an lm339 for this. This pic is one fourth of an lm339 which you have to build:

___The 100k resistor on the power (+ or -, im not sure) will be your pot or "control stick", just use the other half of the pot for the other side. Also theres ways of fine-tuning it to your control stick, which im not sure of details right now. Oh and the LED is where you hook it to the transistor via a resistor.
___2hz seems to be almost perfect for this application (not too much).
___As for range, im still expirimenting, though someone said to add a longer antennae to the receiver, and add more batteries to the transmitter with a voltage reg on the chip. ¿not sure if it works though?
___Hope this helps alot with propo issues
