My 350Z Project
Here is my latest project. So far, I have lowered the car. Instead of making the cuts in the body, I removed the existing tabs on the chassis, and added new tabs at a lower point. That way I can use any body on it and it will be lowered. Also, I hand drilled the holes in the rear deck for the spoiler.

What do you make the tabs out of and where do you get it?

As for the heat sink screw, I used a Dremel to slightly shave away some plastic on the inside of the body where the screw would sit.(Some cars don't need this.) I just cut that tab back to the screw and stopped there. The spoiler was from the 2F&2F Tuner Kit. The tabs are made of an old credit card.(IMO, the best use for a credit card.)
My camera doesn't take good close-ups, so I used my scanner.

It doesn't look like I have much of a tab in the front, but that's because I stuck stiffiner braces on the top and bottom.

The white semi-circle line is where I shaved the body for the heat sink screw. Also, I did have to shave the insides of the wheel wells a little for tire clearance.

Sure thing flatlander_14. I plan on making a couple more of the chassis lowered tab mods, and I will trade you one of them or something. I was thinking about adding some side skirts, etc. to this one.
