baja or Monster Baja
so which is better.. the baja body on the regular chassis, or on the monster chassis. the monster chassis was made by using the wheels off a muscle machine car... the tires get great grip for acceleration and pretty good for steering. and somehow with the big wheels everything about it seems faster... o well. i think this is my favorite body so far. i just have to figure out how to mount it on the monster....

auctually there is more speed than befor, due to the larger tires. and as far as power. it can auctually climb off the tile floor onto carpets and still keep going strong.. acceleration isnt far off.. where befor it took maybe a half a foot befor it was flying, it now may take a whole foot.

Odd, I thought that the bigger wheels would give it less torque

Dude, you crack me up.
I dig on the Monster. It's more unique. You could stuff another cell right under that roof in the front seat, and it would have Monster torque. I get tired of not being able to drive on tiny tracks with my multi cell cars sometimes though.
Luv'n the bugg's!

i just did a internal dual cell to this thing and im doing dounts on the carpet now... it pops wheelies so hard it flips over backwards... time for a wheelie bar.. i also mounted the body... i did this using some parts from my 1/10 rc car.. i basically took the antenna hose and chopped two short lentghs.. then screwed a small screw into each one and heated them up a bit.. this makes the threads in the hose form and makes it easier to put the screws on.. i have only put one hole in the body so far... right in the top of the body (oil cooler air intake on top)with one screw holding the body on it seems to work perfect.. i will post pics soon.

Sounds cool! But, with the beetle body, wouldn't the car just roll right over? It is a circle shape you know.... I don't know, it might sound stupid, becuase I just banged my head on the corner of a wall RIGHT on the temple.... ow.

it does sometimes... but not when its on the carpet.. i find it much easier to control on the carpet... i need to add some stickum to the tires to make them more grippy on flat surfaces.. i can still do a wheelie on flat surfaces.. but turning is a bit difficult..

Hmmm, well, you know what you could do is to put some weight in the front so it doesn't do wheelies. That is, if you don't want it too.... And for the rolling over and stuff, you could pot weight in the bottom of the car, like, if there is any room in the battery area.
