Tank does nothing
Hi,
My new German Panther does nothing.
At first i gave it an ID,charged it an let it run.
Really cool, but it goes to the left by driving.
I opened it and oiled the Gearboxes with Ballistol(really good weapon oil).Closed my tank and it runs good.
After charging it again I drove it above a Pliers(hope its the right word). The tank moves an flashes like hit by another.
afterwards it did not move any longer.
If i wnat to charge it,the Led is flashing and the controller shows the 2 bars.
Waht to do?Is it btoken?
EDIT:Sorry for my English.IŽm from Germany and my last speaking english is 9Years ago at school.

Sorry to hear that. I think the oil has damaged your motors or pcb.
It happened to a few others on this list.
Never use oil only grease or vasiline!
Grease will stick where you put it, oil won't.
Apply as little as possible!

Hm...it was only a real little drop of oil.
There was nothing on the Motors or somewhere else.
Only in the Gearboxes.
And if the Motors are damaged, why doesnŽt ist charge or anything else?

The oil gets into the motors if you're unlucky.
This will kill them. Did you change the batteries?
The tank won't charge if the batteries are low.
The batteries don't have to be emty for them not to charge! Try replacing them with fresh ones. If you're brave enough you could unsolder one of the motors and put a battery on it to check if it runs. Also don't leave the tank on when charging.

Batteries are new.But to be sure,i replaced them by another package.
I think iŽll test a motor by unsolder it.
No Problem.I do Mosphet Mods to all of my Bits, then unsolder a Motor will be no Prob
But what to do,if the motors are broken?
Original Bit Motors are bigger than the Tank Motors.

Ok,IŽve tested the Motors.
They run verry well.the flashing Led is only if Tank is on by charging. If its off theres no flashing.
Noone an Idea?

As i said before. Switch OFF the tank while charging. The red led on the controller stays on while charging. This will change to green when it's full. Wich led is blinking? On the controller or underneath the tank? Tell me whats happening excactly when you charge the tank. Also when you take the tank off the controller and switch on the tank, do you see the led flash once under the tank?

The Led of the Tank is flashing if its on while charging.
But charging doesnŽt work.
The controller shows only 2 lines. No CH.No red or green Led.
Before the Problem it runs like shown in the Manual.
EDIT:Where do you get your Tank from? Can buy it in NL?

That could be your problem, it's been shown that running the Tanks over a magnetic item will cause it to react as though hit by another tank (like you described)...There's also been people who have said that doing this (running the tanks over a magnet) has caused problems with their tanks
Apparently your Pliers are magnetic.

Yes,its magnetic.
But what to do now?
The Tanks of the others (using magnetic mines) are still working.

ok, i've been reading this and it seems to apply most accuratly to a problem with one of my tanks (panther).
brand new batteries in controller, the correct cartidge is in, tank is turned off, switches are in correct positions and i still get the same 2 bars on the indicator. no charging, no red light on tank, id change seems to work as "ok" led comes on but the red light on tank will not and no movement...
does anyone have a any ideas?
