Bigger than it looks?

I think it looks GIGANTIC...

Nice design, but I would be frustrated racing on that course... I have found the best racing to be on fairly simple track designs. If you are planning on racing with others, I might use that same real estate for considerably wider lanes and a way simpler design. To me the fun starts when 2 cars are haulin' ass real close to each other, lap after lap, both in control, no stopping. My advice would be to design a track that plays to the cars' strengths and weaknesses as well as your driving style. I personally don't think these things handle well enough to have a ton-O-fun on a complicated track... simple and wide = lots of fun for me and the dude I race with.

That said, if you are into a very technical style of driving with lots of stops and starts, or you aren't running fast cars, or it's just you drivin' the track, then it would probably work great... and it does look cool.

yea i was gonna make it simple but i got a new peak charger and some 210 mah nimh batteries and my cars seem to last about 3 hours on a 10 min charge so i wanted to make an endurance like indy 500 track. when i build it, its gonna be about 6 car widths wide and all my cars have about 50 feet range so I wont have any problems. I'm working on a smaller one right now that is good just for normal races.

Dude, I hope you have a video camera. Those mods you did on your car sound sweet. Post some pictures of your finished track. I could use some ideas.

i have started building the track now and im pnly about 1% done and it took me 5 hours, im a perfectionist i guess. im also thinkin about makin some stands with like a crowd of people in it made of aper or somethin. the track is gonna be about 65 feet wide and about 40 feet deep. i also need to find a way to race more than 6 cars at a time but i dont know how to do that so if anyone has any ideas lrt me know. and should i put trees and little mountains things or whatever ive also adde a pit area. im also going to put 6 charging pads all tied together so i can just plug them all in at once and im gonna do the same thing for the zip zap charging pads. of course ill haver to increase the amperage from .5 ams to 3 amps if 6 cars are chargin, does anyone think that will work.

Racing more than 6 cars?

Anytime I've raced 4 cars, I get interference. The cars either get driven by other controllers that are closer or stop near another controller. This is on an 8'x8' track. So on your 65' track, good luck!

Anyway, so I assume that you are going to race 27,35,40,49, and 57 Mhz for your first 6 frequencies. I hope to do the same soon -- I just ordered a Compact Char-g.

Since the new Microsizer Pro's have 3 different frequencies that they describe as a,b, and c for both the 49 and 27 (6 total), then maybe you can race 10 cars or 12 if the a,b, and c channels don't interfere with the original 27 and 49 cars. You won't be able to switch the PCB for more range on these booster cars, and they seem to have really poor range according to the forums.

Has anyone out there tried running the all three new MS Pros's together? Does it work? Can you run them with the non booster of the same frequency?

Good luck with your monster track -- wish I had enough room for that.

just get a transmitter from a hobby shop, one from a t maxx works. and open your controllers from your bit char g's and look at the freq. crystal and go get the same freq. crystal for the transmitter. i havent gotten them to work on booster cars though but all the others work, and i guess its the strength of the transmitter that makes it not interfere.
