I've got a MS pro and I'm loving it. Driving the booster car takes a lil practice but I think I'm getting the hang of it. The booster bits are great track cars. I'm running a perfection 3.8 in it and I don't notice any slow down in top speed as compared to other bits.

Look for my "alternate booster button location" thread in the forum. Then you will have absolutely no transition from normal car driving and booster car driving. Easy operation.

I couldn't find a crip cap in the Fairlady Z, but I have two of them and the range sucks on both (though one is slightly better than the other), even after adding an antenna mod to both the car and the controller. I'm tempted to think that the 57mhz is more prone to interference than my other 49mhz cars. I've found that my favorite motors for the boost cars is the TinyRC red motor (3.0, I think) and a Formula 34 white motor. Believe it or not, the orange K.I.T. Racer motors do really well in a boost car with green gears.

no crip cap in the Fairlady because as you will notice it is the black controller, which is the older version. you should get 20-35 feet with that car. the new MS pro cars are boosters and i didn't notice a crip cap on the new cars. i don't know if everyone complained or if these were made for the U.S. kids to play with and not for professional racing circuits in Japan. dunno.

the new MS pros are super fast. i think the 2.2 it comes with out runs my 3.4 when i hit the boost button. i'm going to add a dual cell to the MS pro and see what it's really capable of!

my friend and i each picked up an mspro last night. both of the 2.2 tomy motors are a joke. i put the boost pcb into my muscle car with pullback wheels with my pink clone motor and unboosted it is faster than a boosted single cell. when i punch it i get the most power iver ever seen in a bit. driving it is so nice now.

even a stock booster goes a lot faster with a clone motor.

Angry OMG! PINK CLONE MOTORS! OHHO!!!!!

I think hogjowlz is in love with pink clone motors.

Try a Perfection 3.8 in an MS PRO. Now THAT is performance.
