Palmrunner speed...

I'm thinking about buying a palmrunner because I can't afford a Mini z. I see that they only run on 2 AAA's. Can they be modded to fit 4?

How fast is a stock palm runner(mph)? How does it handle. How fast is it compared to a STOCK Mini Z? I know that Mini Z's are the way to go in this realm, but I can't afford it so don't slam me too hard on how much better they are.

Thanks.

Well mate, i cant tell you alot about the palm runner, but i know it is non proportional (like a giant bit) and with only 2 cells it would have quite a slow top speed as i can imagine, i am not sure, but I think it has a solid axle. I dont think it is raceable in the same class as mini z's. For general mucking around i guess it would be okay.

I own both mainly coz the palm runners share some of the same basic bits from the mini z so i use it for spare parts and the shells as they fit the mini 'z.

the palm runner is signficantly slower, and not as chuckable as the Z, palm runner is ok if ur just muckin around as jamiekulhanek stated, but soon enuff u'll want the Z

or you could always get a heipaor or race tin. They might not be quite as pretty but they have a lot of mods you can do to them for really good speed.
