turbo motor in tri cell car
Hey I just tri celled my zz ! BOY does it zip zap now !! but when I use turbo or nitro motor it has extreme poor accelleration. When I put it on carpet it wont go unless i give it a boost and the it goes super fast. With the performence and control motors it does fin but not with turbo and nitro how do I make them work.

I actually prefer the turbo in a 3 cell, the hop isn't really bad but the performance does have a better accel.

I have ran the NOS motor and others with 3 cells. What do I like best? Clone Bit motors. They are way fast with the 3 cells, and off the line, you can't beat'em. You should check out my "2 second scale 1/4 mile" video in the Bit forum. It speaks for itself. The car will still run just barely shy of 8mph on a treadmill, but accelleration is incredible. 20feet7inches from a dead stop in 1.9 seconds! I don't struggle with the speed issue anymore. I am just trying to keep myself from ripping the gears off axles and trying to get traction. TORQUE!!!

true that.
i have a red tipped clone motor that is similar in size+appearance to the pink 3.8 motor, but is faster in all aspects than the 3.8 with the multi celled cars. i cant remember the name of the clone..but i still have the box(looked similar to a real bitcharg box, except lacking TOMY logo top right corner. was 14 bucks.)

i have a bit pcb in the tri cell zz..i started with a regular 3.8 but the red clone motor was clearly faster. it's also faster than either of the red or yellow zz motors in the same config.
anyway, with all the good stuff ive been hearing about the perfection 3.8's i have
6 batts and 2 perfection 3.8 motors are currently on their way.

I have 4 of the perfection motors and they are by far my favorite motors. They have great accel and topend. I still prefer the turbo in my 3cell car, the car is uncontrollable with the 3.8.
