New Micro Servo! Smallest in the World!
Some CA glue leaked into my GWS Picco servo and locked the gears together. Before I realized what had happened, I forced the control horn to spin and it broke some gears inside. A rookie mistake, but stuff happens.
So I went to buy a new servo to finish my MAN project and to my suprise, there is a newer smaller servo availble! It is a Cirrus CS-5.4 its dimensions are 20.15mm x 8.1mm x 17.7mm!
The bet part is that it does not have the little bump in the housing next to the output shaft so you can now mount it flush against a surface! It only cost $24!

yes i have 2 of them..called saturn and distibuted by irvine here in england..there can be a problem i think tho..its a struggle to get the servo horn thru the chassis enough as there isnt a lot of reach on the servo horn spindle which means that if you need to make your servo horn run over the chassis you will struggle.

Nice servo ;-)))))
I use this sice in different trucks.
but ist isn't the smallest one you can get.
Actualy the smalles I know is called "NANO" and you can get it at www.mikroantriebe.de .
In a view weeks (at the end of march i hope) there is a smaler servo availible.
Less than 1 gramm and perfect to put it between the front wheel of a personal car 1/87. Its also developed by www.mikroantriebe.de
The "Nano" I use in my "Lanz-Bulldo" Traktor:

great find O! , ei! there's no need to buy a new servo if you have damaged just the gears, there are complete gear set available to replace the damaged ones, ask your LHS if they have.

Nevermind about the Cirrus CS 5.4!
I bought two of them and they both DONT WORK!
I tried them on two different receivers and they glitch and only work intermittently. They both tend to spin continuously.
I took one apart and found that they dont have travel limiters and thats what makes them spin continuously.
I SHOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT THESE! but they looked nice and small.
I dont understand why they dont work.
