wheels turn but car wont??
i know there have been a lot of issues with steering but have not seen any like this. if there is a post that deals with this kinda problem please direct me to it... i could not find it.,
i just got another bit char-g. the wrx. anyway i have seen the problems with some cars that wont turn on way or another. those issues was usually because the steering was just not strongenough to turn the tires or the steering was not centered.
my bit has the ability to turn the wheels both ways, but it will only go to the right. when trying to turn to the left, the wheels turn and the car just goes straight.. at first i thought they were nt getting any tracton so i cleaned the tires and the surface i was driving on. still nothing. i cleand the bottom of the car for any debris.. stillnoting.
does anyone know anything else i can do.. i have plenty of steering power... just wont turn to the left,...

Did you make sure the wheels can spin when turned in that direction. Make sure they are not rubbing anything and can spin freely. If they are binding up on turns your car will just skid stright

they all spin freely even when turning, even with the body off.

Try recentering the magnet in the steering column. It may have come unglued and be starting to slide to one side or the other of the column itself. If this is the case, you will only get steering to one side when the weight of the car is on it, however it will appear fine when you are holding the car up. Krazy glue will solve this problem. While you're at it, put rare earth magnets in place of your stock one. That way you'll get your symmetrical steering back with a centered magnet, and you'll turn tighter due to the stronger magnetic pull. Hope this helps! Good luck!

humm well the magnet is recentered. still the sam problem the wheels can turn both ways sitting still.. and after reading the post "'Rare Earth Magnets . . . hype?... " i think i will stick to the stock magnets in the tomy. the wheels will even turn to the left when moving, but the car still goes straight. im gonna try some suspension changes and see if that helps. this is the first bit char-g that ive had any problems with. and i have yet to see this problem in any other clone... maybe i just got a bad one. i will keep working on it though...
