the motor works charging base charges with 4.5volts stock and uses 3 AAA batteries. This is absolutly perfect for charging a dual battery zip zap or bit.
i modified the motor works charger and attached a zipzap charging clip and
packaged it within the zip zap controller cover.
with 4.5v and a little extra current from an external power source it'll charge my 3 battery bitzap. i modified the motor works charger and attached a radio shack mini dc adapter 4.5v 1600mA. I also use a 3v-12v 800mA adjustable power adapter...both work fine.
for a dual setup with 150mA batts..charge 2.5 times..3 gets a little warm
for a triple batt setup charge 3 times...4 if u can wait that long.
i havent tried running 6v thru the motor works charger..but there doesnt seem to
be anything that would fry...the cap gets warm..but that's just the cap for the timer. easily upgraeable.
