dual batt disaster :(
OK, I swear I have read a few threads about his but i feel my problem is alittle different. I have an extra zip zap so I decided to try dual celling the little bugger. I looked on bunta's guide on how to set up the batteries. I wire them up & test it before soldering, stick it on the charger (a charger hooked to 4 AA's.) Man, that spinning sound was beautiful, alot higher pitch than what I am used to hearing.
So I solder what I need to solder & hook the batteries up. I made connectors to hook to the batts instead of soldering on them. I hook it on the charger, that sweet sweet sound again. WOOO HOOO I actually did it!!
I leave it on for about a minute!!! put it on the table... nothing.
put it back on the charger... spinning... take it off... nothing.
What did i do wrong??? I do not have a volt meter so I couldn't test it. I got aggitated to I took it all apart & everything worked just fine. Both batts would charge & hold it & the car ran fine.
BTW: Can anyone suggest a cheap volt meter from Radio shack. All I will ever use it for is destroying micros so I don't need anything elaborate.
Any help is appreciated.

Hi Peeps,,
Blamminator,, I think you have a bad connection between two of your cells,, or you have an un-intended connection (short circuit) with one of your batts... The problem is not related to your PCB connections.
When you put the car on the charger,,, the charger is powering up the car,, the batts are not being charged at all.
I hope this helps,,
-Bunta
