There are 2 MS pcb boards

I have 2 microsizers. They both have different pcb boards on the car. There is a slight difference by looks. If you look at the bottom right corner of the pcb (to the right of where the cripple cap is supposed to be), it either has a lot of numbers on a colored box on it or a couple numbers on a black box. The black box one has less torque. Having the same gearing, the one with less torque has to be pushed with a 3.0 in it. That might be why so many people have problems with their 3.0. (I don't know if this applies to BCG's)

Do you mean this black box? (red arrow)

If so, then your statement that the black box ones have less torque may not be true, because My MS Sport is a absolute torque monster.

This one is identical to my Bit Char-G PCB. Both had the Crip Cap, which I removed, and both were purchased in the last month. Both have no trouble at all moving a 3.2, or a 3.8 with torque to spare. I don't know if 3.0s have a problem with power, but I would think they would have at least as much torque as the faster motors. The main difference between the two, is that the MS has so much extra torque, it's difficult to drive, with out it flipping, or spinning out.
