My black mustang zip-zap came stock with a 100Mah NI-MH battery is that normal?

Very! That's all I've ever gotten in my Zips. I would prefer they added NiCD's, but it's the darn NiMH. NiCD's are much more charger friendly.

NIMH are supposed to be more friendly. I've had probelms with Nicads

ZipZaps come with 100mah nimh which is better than the nicd 50mah. It lasts longer on a charge.

NiCads have a memory effect to them, where if you charge them up before they are fully discharged, then soon, 75% discharged = 100% discharged (shorter life if you charge early). NiMH do not have the same kind of effect; either that, or it is much less pronounced. I would take a NiMH over a NiCad any day.
