K.I.T.T. cars
Hope this is okay to post with the moderator.
I went to my local Wal-Mart and they are redoing the store. Anyhow they are closing out the KITT racers for $2!! Bought a couple for the motors, tires and stickers. Understand I need to run the pinion gear off of my Bit motor though, is that true?
Check 2 other stores and they were also closing them out. Thought would alert others to check their area.

that's not exactly true. i run the 7 tooth pinion from the kit on 2 of my cars with the standard 9:86.1 gears. they fly. it just takes a little work. there are a couple others on this forum who do too. try it and see.

Huh... you must be one of the lucky-ones, cause I tried that once and the gears just did NOT mesh well at all. Made a nasty grindin' noise, so I quit that set-up real quick. I guess it just goes to show you that everyone gets different results with their tinkerings.
