my 3 cell bit char g

3 cell rocks! amazing how much of a diffrence from 1 cell to 2 cell and now 3 cell is! each take off that i make, the front wheels lift off. this mod is a must if you want top speed. the specs that i use are

shen (clone) chassis
original bit char g pcb
z-cars r/c 3.0 motor
stock tires
cat-5 wires (for the antena)
3 stock ni-Cads

im not sure if you can use MaH for this but its worth a try. pz

heres what i use to make this

you'll need

3 stock ni-cad batteries (i guess any battery works, but use the same kind for all, DONT MIX BATTERIES! ex. 100, 150, 150 mAh - NO, 150, 150, 150 mAh - YES)

your bit-char-g (or mini rc of course)

26 guage of wire (not solid copper wire), red and black

electrical tape (i dont like soldering)

glue gun

1. take apart your pcb from your microsizer pcb cover

2. lift the pcb over on the right side of the + tab of the battery

3. remove battery carefully

4. cut about 2x of electric tape of the length on the battery

5. strip about 1/2 inch of 26 guage wire and loop it, then tape it down using red 26 guage wire

6. cut about 3 inches of black 26 guage wire, then strip about 1/2 inch and attach it to the back tab of the -. the - will be located in the (drivers) area.

7. now run the wires through the 2 last gaps to where the pcb cover is mounted on

8. place the battery in place inside the pcb, then close it

9. run the wires/antenna out of the body, then snap it in

10. use the red wire, tape it to the + of the second battery using electric tape (step 4)

11. cut 2 inches of 26 guage wire red and tape it down on the second battery

12. then use that red wire and tape it to the + of the third battery, (step 4)

13. now tape down the black wire on the - side of the third battery

14. slide in all your wires inside your microsizer and mount the batteries inplace like what i did to mines and bam!

15. enjoy. if anyone wants me to post pics of the setup, reply to this thread.

thank you

to what i think, 3 cell is up to the limit, i highly doubt ill go 4 cell. its possible but your motor life span will end very quick. sorry about the vid, ill make it some time tomorrow or whenever i have time. you'll see how zippy fast these things are!. 2.6 motors are recommended for this 3 cell application. i have yet to try a 3.0 motor. more information comming soon. also those of you who did the same to there bit char g with my instructions, pls post here and comment what you think about this. thanks

I would highly recommend "using MaH" since milli amp hours is the amount of juice a battery can hold. Stock batteries are usually 50 mah. I imagine you're talking about NiMH but haven't been around to forums, or haven't bothered looking, for the REAL name of these batteries.

thanks all. as for the battery names i know them. ni-cad = stronger punch that ni-mh. i once had a 6 cell mini z, with a NML and man was i flying. lets say 45 mph, almost 50? i limited from 4 cell to 3 because adding a 4th cell to my bit charge will decrease the life of my motors lifespan to maybe a month of running? with this 3 cell mod that i did, every takeoff i do, i lift up on 2 front wheels making it wheelie like it suppost to do try it
