panel lines drawn on rc cars/models...what do u think?

well i normally dont ever draw panel lines....but wanted to know your opinion on them before i go ahead and do it..
i got some really really thin markers i use for drawing..and wondering if would make it look a little more realistc or just cartoony???
in this pic, the car looks almost like a cartoon because the lines are too thick...and this is on a 1/32 car

Try using a 01 pigment liner. I think staedtler has a grey that would probably look better on the white car. As for yellow look for a tan or a light brown color liner. Pure black never looks right.
Mind you I've never done a car, just throwing out some suggestions.

IMO panel lines look cheezy when done in black, not particularly a fan of them. But yeah the 2nd pic looks more better, it looks subtle. If you can make them light accents like that then go for it!
