well for some reason, the 2000 GTR does kind of look like a charger how its shaped and all, but isnt an 8-6 a toyota corolla?

yeah the 86 is a toyota corolla that was produces from (I believe) 1983 till 1986. (Could be wrong on the dates) It was last rear wheel drive corolla before they went to front wheel drive.

=) actually... they dont call it an 86 cuz it was made in 86.. it does make sense, but im almost certain that's not how they did it...

cuz the levin (ae85) was made all through the same years as the trueno was, and simply was a weaker, ecomony car version... im waayy too lazy to look up the specifics, but im sure there's a reason why they call it the 86...

generally japanese cars arent given names, just the production tag,: ae86, FC3S, FD, SW20, ehhh.. i dunno evo3's production tag oh, and s15, s13, as oppsed to sylvia...

hey Pie, but there are AE86 Levins . im not sure but the ones you see on the streets are either GT-S corolla model or SR-5. the GT-S is the ae86 with 127 hp.(around there). and the SR-5 is considered the ae85 with like 87hp....that SLOW but what can u do?

someone correct me if im wrong
