Need help...BCG is twitchy after mod

Hey all, I just did the rear wheel mod (putting a set of rear wheels on the front) on my BCG, and now the steering is all whack. The car drives really twitchy. Anyone have any remedies or suggestions? Other than the steering my BCG is awesome. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

oh yeah...I checked the steering magnet, coils, and misc. parts. Also, my bit is all cleaned out, no dust, lint, dirt. etc. Thanks...

Do you suppose you might have drilled the holes into the rim to large? If you did, the looseness or wobble may be what is causing your twitching. The other twitching might be caused by accidentally damaging the coils during the mod. these were the only two things I came up with. Ill post again if I think of anything else. So hows it look? What body did you do the mod with?

Well...

...can you believe there is barely any slop or play in the assembly? I did it pretty well, used a precision drill bit. The wheels spin freely without binding. There is no binding in the steering assembly as well. I will take pictures of the chassis and detail for everyone to see. I'm figuring the larger diameter and weight of the wheels causes is it track incorrectly. I have the medium red stabilzer on the front as well. I'm running a 2.2 motor and the 8.25:1 gear. It's riding on soft rear tires and medium fronts. I have a red Mazda RX-7 body. Hopefully i'll figure it out. Thanks.

I have 2 cars with that same mod and both do not have the symptoms you describe, BUT I have a third car that I modded using the hot-swap rims/tires from Johnny Lightning and I do have that problem when I swap out wide surface area tires like slicks. This problem only happens when I run wide tires. For example when I am running in a straight line and try to turn to the left, the car will turn and release and turn and release quickly, as though the magnets signal was strobing or fluctuating. I know it is not the magnet though because a simple tire swap cures the problem.

The steering is fine...the car just doesn't track straight. Tell me what you think...
