Tracks coming off

Hey - I've got a rover I got from eBay...Nice, but, the tracks frequently like to come off. Is this how it's supposed to be, or, is something screwy? It's mostly during sharp turns, but, still, shouldn't it be able to do that (on carpet)?

BTW, I got the cam, too, so, that's fun.

first thing... we mad modifiers round my end so it may b too much for ya

2nd thing heres how we stopped it:

get a trashed rover and remove the back cog wheels that drive the tracks. take the front wheels off another rover and add the cogs in their place.

this should stop them comin off..

if u dont have a trashed rover... live with it... and dont turn 2 much

the tracks only come off of my rover when I'm on a carpet floor. try driving on a harder smoother surface.

Thanks for both replys. I'll try the hard surface suggestion, and if I can come up with a spare set of wheels, I'll try that too.

Now I have two ways to work it.

Anyone know what Plantraco are like at supplying spare parts??
Do they do it?
Would they bother to ship spares to the UK?

I wouldn't mind a couple of spare rear cogged wheels to stick on the front end.
And a couple of spare sets of tracks, I imagine these things will get damaged over time.

they sent me a drive gear and shaft because mine was bent. I just recieved it today, when they said they shipped it back in early January. So plan on waiting a long time for your part(s).
