Ho to make the fastest car

So what should one do to make the fastest car possible. what kinda car should i start with? a bit with 2 speeds? a LXX, or some other clone? what battery and engine mods will give me the speed that im looking for. or is it kinda just a luck of the draw that the car that you buy will be able to transfer the energy to the wheels better than another. there are a lot of posts that say what will make something faster, but then are usually followed by posts that say its not possible, or that the mod wouldnt work.

i guess what parts should i look for and what brand parts... do i need to build the best Frankinbit..
