LEDs
Are there any major stores that sell LED lights? Also, When does a light burn out? Does that mean I'll have to get new LEDs? If anyone lives on the Big Island of Hawaii then can you tell me any stores that sell LEDs? Ty!

LED answers
uhhh the brightness depends on the leds mcd. my blue leds are 300 mcd. The switch is located where the antenna comes out of the car. You can also buy diy kits from www.toyeast.com. they come with the switch, superbrite leds and wires and a battery, all for under $15.

on any car the LED's will shine thru it, so if your going to give your car a new paint job then don't worry cuz the light prob is fixed, if you wanna leave your body the way it is, I suggest either paint or masking tape on hte inside

I just went to radio shack today and they had leds, but there was no switch on it. Is there supposed to be a switch on it? also, what kind of battery do you use? Is there a site that has instructions on how to install a certain LED into a bit ?

The switch has to be bought seperatlely. If im not mistaken, you should use a 3 volt battery. QFM has instructions on how to install led to your bit but their site has been down for a while.

LEDs
E-mail is how I get my LEDs. Expect to pay for good ones. If you don't use too high a voltage they won't burn out. I am designing a headlight kit. It will have a switch in the rear window. BAE
