Australian Site Hacked

Even though this site provides a wealth of information, I do surf some of the other Micro RC car sites. I just went to check out the ausmicro.com site and saw that all the forums and postings are gone - deleted. The main forum page boasts that Remixpower has hacked it and everything is gone. What a shame. I guess the Grinch has visited and has stole all the Whos presents. I hope they are able to recover and get their site back up.

this is just plain stupid

Well I ggogled the name of the so-called hackers of the board and this is hte first link i got. Since it seems to be some sort of pirate/hacking site I think these are most likely the group mentioned as hte so-called hackers of ausmicro.com

http://www.remixpower.de/board/wb/portal.php

Either way this was quite lame, and utterly pointless.

Sadly though the remixpower server looks like its hosted in germany (the .de counrty code) Despite it apparently using the turkish language (IE asked me to install the turkish language upon entering that site). I tried using a turkish to english traslator site, but no luck. Apparently either its some odd dialect of turkish, iE gave me bogus info (most likely), or the translator site is junk.

If I could understand a word they were saying, maybe I could shed more lilght.

Either way, now I'm getting curious and want to see what is in their forums....now to find a decent translator...

Turns out the site is in Germany, verified with a traceroute. And the language is some dialect of turkish.

www.tranexp.com is the translator im using, but it does not work all that well.

Also it seems all the juicy segments of the site are password protected.

Either way I am too hazy tonight to go any further, maybe tomorrow will prove to be more sucessful.

Its always the quiet ones...

Little Billy loved playing with his micro RC car, but one day the wheel fell off. Poor Billy. So he went to his favorite website and asked what to do, and people just laughed at him. Little did they know that "Little Billy" was a 350 pound linebacker for the college football team. And every 350 pound linebacker has a geek friend, and that geek friend hacked the site to accomplish a whole steaming pile of nothing.

Its always the quiet ones...
