Snow would be easy because I used styro foam.Just hit it with the Krylon Dirty white stone effect spray paint.Airbrush some dirty tank track in to the snow.I have learned in order to regular spray paint on strofoam you have to spray about 15" to 24" away with lite coats and then you get no foam corision from the petro chemicals in the paint. I should have built a bridge in stead of the cave.Would have been more fun to drive on it is hard to back in to the cave.

Nice. Another trick to keep the spray paint from desolving the foam, spray it first with Super 77 (spray glue).

Slotsufer is the foam on your battle field rigied enough to cut in half and hinge it or would i have to mount it on wood

im only ask cause i really got no room in my apartment and if iy could be folded

humm now that in thinking i wonder if i could make a battle field in a plastic container the long flat one that fits under the bed then all i would have to do is put the lid on it
heres a link to my madness http://www.rubbermaid.com/hpd/consum...uct/list.jhtml

http://www.rubbermaid.com/hpd/consum...irdMenuIndex=3

does this sound like a good idea?

as a side note i saw this on DIY TV http://www.diynet.com/DIY/article/0,2058,2486,00.html slot i like you water affect would this help out any ?

The foam I used is high compressed white foam that I used to cut R/C glider wings out of.If I had my choice I would have made it out of Epp foam you could run that kind of foam over with my car and you still would have a battle field.I would just slide your Battle field under the bed not worry about it.Or find a Plastic supply company and purchase some Coroplast 1/4" thick and make your self a box you can ussaly get a sheet for about $14.00 try Regal plastics they might have a warehouse in your area. The river I airbrushed on the color is metalic blue poly carbonate paint for R/C bodies. My thought was it would melt a little in to the foam and make a riverbed. But it did not because the other coats of paint formed a protective shell
