bitmod1 3.5 vs. 3.8 results
well i got both of them today and damn are they fast. remember, the test car is a 2 speed fairlady............the 3.5 unboosted, still slow, but boosted fast as hell. the 3.8 unboosted still slow, but boosted it is the fastest little thing I have ever seen. both are great, but the 3.8 is just disgustingly fast. if i hold in the boost before i start, i can get around the acceleration lag and it will just haul ass from the start. same with the 3.5. I need a 1 speed car to properly test which one is truly better. imo, they are both quality and both are highly recommended.

I don't know, I don't have one.
I have a 2.8 monkey rotor for my zip zap which is nice too, but other than that I don't know........

Thanks for the testing, Aero!
I just ordered two 3.8s from Tiny. One is going in my Auto Modelista chassis and other gonna go in my dual battery mod.

is there an extreme drop off from the 3.5 to the 3.8 in torque? i know the OEM has bad torque, but how about your modded 3.8?

unboosted, they both start off slow.
boosted, the 3.8 seems to have greater acceleration from the start than the 3.5....
in articles that i have read about bitmod1's 3.5, it is suppose to blow away the 3.8. I believe those tests were done in a single speed car though. dont get me wrong, they both kick ass and i'm not knockin the 3.5 till i can test them both against each other in single speed cars.
i'll let ya know!!

thanks for the info! just from comparing the stock 2.2 to the stock 3.0 the diff in torque/accel is crazy in favor of the 2.2 - i see it's possible that once you get around 3.0+ thetorque sucks comparitively - so why not goforthe one with the highertop speed, right? thanks, look forward to your next update!
