Do Not Try At Home!

I really love the rc10's and other offroad RC's. I've been playing with them for a long time. I love them cos' of the suspension. Well, now I have the start of what I feel will never let me get my regular day to day chores and work done. It's just the front end, but hopefully you guys can picture what I'm going to do to the back axle.

It turns, but not as well as I had hoped. This was just a prototype. I need to make the units smaller. First order of business was just finding a layout that had working springs and didn't interfere with the steering magnet. The turns are way too sharp. This may be because the back axle doesn't stretch out as far. The entire suspension system is connected to the center of the original knuckles. The suspension works great. I took it over a few rocks and coins and the individual suspension responded perfectly. It is very soft. I'm really happy with my first attempt. Now I have something to go by for my next prototype in which I hope for it to be half the size. Great thing is, every spring and part for this mod only cost me $.78.

And calling someone redneck makes you the bigger man, right?
Way to prove a point! I agree my post was ignorant after reading it again this morning. Yours is even more ignorant by calling me on something, then posting the same thing. Does that make us both rednecks?

Let's not turn this or any thread into an argument. I understand where you're coming from and will even appologize to Pakiplaya when I see him. You were right. I shouldn't have said that and you shouldn't have criticized me in the same manner. It's like telling a kid to stop swearing, while you're swearing at him.

Don't generalize. Not all Americans are rednecks. That's like me saying all Muslims are terrorists. All you're proving is we're both ignorant. Get the f#@$%ng point?

I like this idea. It looks very mechanical. I love metal parts. Turning will improve if you bring the wheels in closer to the chassis. Definately gives me ideas. What are the wheels and tires taken from?

Springs, metal and plastic to make the suspension system came from two lighters aprox. $.40 each. The rims and tires come from a muscle machine import tuner from Walmart. The car also comes with bucket seats and a speaker system. Both of which can be snuck in under the body if you trim it nice and have the PCB dropped to the bottom of the chassis. My next car should be decked out. It's just taking forever

[edit]
Almost forgot....The import tuner I bought came with a sweet muffler that fits to the chassis perfectly!
