Thumbs up Bits vs Zipzaps

Hi everyone.
I just found that many say zipzaps suck vs the bits.
If you have a nos motor, would it still be slow? and what is it equal to in bit motors? answer anyone plz.
getting one of the bits or zipzaps today.
also i love the low price of the zipzaps, and the hop up parts, fast and furious bodies rule!

ZipZaps out of the box stink when it comes to speed. BUT....

They have the best chassis and handling you can get. If it's speed you want, ZZ's handle speed the best. All that it takes to get the BIt speed into a ZZ is to swap out the PCB boards. And the NOS motor is the fastest motor I own. It's just regarded as crappy cos the PCB board in the ZZ. Put that mutha in a Microsizer or Bit and it'll kill any motor. You won't be able to control the car, but it'll be fun to see. You can only make those little bits and clones go so fast before you lose control of them and just end up doing donuts all the time. ZZ's can take the speed a lot better and offer a lot better body styles without all the tape and glue the others have to use on the tires to keep their cars straight. BTW...I HATE Radio Shack! Hate it! Hate it! Hate it! But, ZZ is the best car, especially if you're really into mods and willing to swap out the PCB.

yep, I'm sitting here, working.... at radio shack. Zip zaps are entirely too huge here. 175+ namers on our list, and we only get about 20 per week.

They'll be around for quite a bit () after x-mas, we get around 20 per shipment, but I've heard of other stores getting a little more than that.

would i ever see zipzaps in canada? i really want one. and wahts the deal with the cheap clones in canada? zipzaps are customizable with wicked parts, and the cyclonia here sucks!

hey pakiplaya. cyclona costs a few bucks less than a zipzap and i guarantee it will spank a zz with the nos motor. and actually anyone who says that zipzaps handle better, you havnt put a better magnet in your bit/clone. im sure it would help with zipzaps as well. can you parallel park with a zipzap? my cyclona can on carpet that my zipzap wouldnt even be able to move on.

i have drag raced against a zipzap and blew it away every run.

also if you still wana get one make sure you dont get a 27mhz because you cant use it more than 5 feet away.

Ok here is my little shakedown....

Bits...

Fast out of the box
can be modded to be even faster
many many hop ups
many many bodies
great handeling(even with rare earth magnet).
many varieties to choose from(buses, anime cartoons....etc)
Where are the ferraris?....and the lamborgini's...?
Easier to find because of the so called "secretness" of them
Parents would rather spend 20 bucks than 40 :-/
Speed mods are easier
Easily finds 20$ miicrosizers at target 2...but parents dont reallt know this..

Zips........
Slow out of the box
can be modded to be faster but not comparable to a bit..
some hop ups and still arnt that great
ok bodies
great handeling
not many varieties(spongbob?........thornberry's...?!)
No skylines?!
20 bucks=good price
Kids love spongebob(hey, he can be funny...)
need "not so easy" mods to make them as fast as a bit.
waiting lists......
