ZZ's meet Johnny Lighting
Picked up a JL pullback racer the other day (57 Vett) the body is to shallow to look right on the ZZ. So I yanked the wheels off of it and stuck them on 1 of my ZZs. Looks pretty good with the Cicvic or PT bodies (with the 911 looks like sh*t)

I like it! The wheels look more to scale. How is the handling now? Do you notice any improvement or does it detract any. I was thinking that you could add fender well flarings to the Porshe to help shrink down the oversized holes in the fenders. You know, like flares that bulge out and come down. They would look like regular fender flarings (especially if you add ground effects as well) and would give the second bonus of allowing you to make the fender wells as small as you like to fit your new tires. Just a thought.
BTW, where'd ya get the JL pullbacks from? And, would you wanna sell the body if you have no plans for it? I love '57 Vettes.

Thanks for the reply. The handling suc*ks and it's a bit slower (did it for looks) Might make a good drag car with a few mod's.
I got the JL at a local hobby shop for $4.50, Been thinking about getting back into the slot cars (Model Motoring/ Thunder Jets/ AFX) so I'm gonna keep the Vett body (Fits on a AFX chassis). Or I hack the Vett to make it fit ???

why do you waste your time with cripcraps when you can buy way better things for 20 bucks such as................pot......not the drug...but the item used in cooking so that you can bring the water to a boil throw in your zip zaps and then go buy some bit char-g's

Y'know you could just put that vette body, or another JL body on there so the fender wells match the tires you're sportin now. I like the look of it, very much more true to scale. Shame about the handling though. Looks like it would be a good road racer being so low to the ground. What kind of pen (assuming it was a pen) did you use to highlight your body panel seperation lines on the blue Honda. I tried a fine point sharpie, but that sucker is just to fat for these delicate lines.
