Micro Transmitter and receiver help
Hey all,
I'm not good on the technical stuff. I'm trying to find out the specs of a very basic transmitter and receiver. But they need to be small mainly the receiver. Coz i'm planing a mod that could use a micro receiver, the receiver needs to be able to fit into the top of the ZipZap.
If any of you are able to help me with specs and parts i'll need, thank you.
If i do get specs and info, i'll tell you what it is when i have finished building.

Hmmmmm, I smell extra functions being added to your car. Mini weapons perhaps? Actuated lights or horn maybe? How 'bout a remote operated convertable top? Just being nosey, keep your secret til you figure it out. Seriously though, you could simply use another board out of a ZZ of a different frequency. Or, a bit for that matter. It's even smaller. Take the guts out of both controllers and marry them into a single box with four toggles. You got me thinking about it now. Good luck, and lets see that mega machine when you get it working!

The transmitter secmatic have been floating around for a stock bit or can be access from a search on the FCC web site if its got a FCC ID number. There are no full secmatic of the car receiver right now. I have started but been too busy to finish it up. But want to do soon.
You may wan to double stack the board to get it that small.

Thx for the help. Yes it is extra functions but none of the ones u refered to. I can't wait till its done but i need to wait awhile till i can get a ZZ import by a mate. Coz i live in Australia its hard to keep buying them.
Do u think i Should work on the receiver now? coz i can get clones here but i want a ZZ to put the mod in. Hope fully once its finished it will help all of u.

Here is a partical secmatic of what I got so far There is a ground through some componet connection missing I think. It does not have the IC under the blob of plastic.
The top part is the basic receiver and the bottom is the power inverter/stablizer.
The IC is a 5 function with the 5 ths or known as boost uses for 2 speed cars and maybe the action on the Wild Char-G.
Not sure on what to start but may want to work on the hardest part first.
PS: Good luck!

That diagram only cover the "front" end of the receiver and a power doubler that generates a constant 3v. There is a matrix of resistor , the tone decode IC and the H Bridge that are not indicated on the secmatic.
Good luck!

I'm gonna buy a clone and i'm gonna try the curcuit that u have shown me. I'm not good at understanding the technical side of things yet, i'm only just starting. But hopefully one of my mates knows, he built a sound system from scratch into his car.
I thank you again, i don't think i will be able to thank u enough.
