they are basically cheaper or toned down versions of mini z's. Most of the exterior parts can be changed (body, tires, wheels) but most of the electronics will stay the same like the frequency and such. on a real mini z you can change the crystals i think allowing you to run several cars (10-12) but these are limited to only two frequencys have only two cars being able to be run at the same time.

striderpunk, don't waste your money, the Palm Runners are a waste of money; all they will do is make you want a real Mini-Z, so you may as well put the money towards the Mini-Z in the first place!

well actually tiny i was considering getting a palm runner but one of those cheap knockoff brand (takoros or tortillas, or something that sounds mexican ) of the palm runner. They sell that at toyeast and they are cheap, very cheap as in 15 dollars cheap. And considering that you get proportional steerign with them i wouldn't mind. Of course a miniz would be nice but i was looking more for looks rather than performance so it would be a basic change of wheels and body.

Well, honestly those are even more of a waste of money, but if you do get one, let us know how you like it!

No you don't. They are on/off throttle & steering just like the race tin and canned heat cars.

yeah, you can just get em for the bodies, I picked up a Calsonic Skyline real cheap and and a Supra. Cheaper than what they charge for just the body on ebay! and then you still have a chassis for fun.
