4wd on a bit

Has anyone ever tried putting 4 wheel drive on a bit i was thinking about it and if its possible to put rubber band between axels or a seprate motor all to gether for the front wheels. it requires removing the suspension i know that but if i get a new bit im gonna do it i aint messin with my mazda rx-7 that thing is a beast but if i can get it to work im gonna do it on mazda its gonna be mad speed if i can get it to work

it would be insanely hard to give the front wheels power and still have steering, you couldnt put a motor up front cause it would stuff with the steering magnet. maybe make up some sort of cat track, like on a tank to externally drive the wheels....

hm...DO THIS ON A CLONE, NOT YOUR BELOVED BIT
some cars have 2 motors...like the digiQ i beleve...
one motor is faced one way in the front, and another motor is faced the opposite direction on the rear, which is standard..

i havent done this, but i thought about it....
what you would have to do is remove all of the steering junk like steering coils, steering magnet thingy...and front rims itself...
youll probably have to modify you front so that you can fit axles on them with a idle gear also...
but then comes the problem with making both motors turn on when you go forward/reverse...im sure there is a way....
when your car turns, one motor goes backward, while the other goes forward...depending on which way you turn...

although this isnt considered 4 wheel drive..its more like dual motor drive

What if you could set the steering magnet back some i had an old rc car that was set up with the steering accually 2 inches from the accual axel ill put up a diagram in my next post

i could get like 4 motors on a tank one for each wheel lol but i like a challange so guess what im gonna do it like a regular car but first ill try to make a tank it could be a bit easier and good practice

i was thinking...has anyone ever worked with 4wd 1/10 cars?
I have a tamiya "baja champ" 4wd buggy that uses a shaft drive from the back gearing to another sealed gearbox up front.

Now, the hard part.

It would be near impossible, but you could fix the type of shafts that they use on the 1/10 scale cars (MUCH smaller) to the front knuckles of the cars (would have to have a rotating bearing or something), then to a front gearbox. The shafts would have to be able rotate in all directions, to accomadate the suspension and the steering, and how much they would have to be bent. This wold involve having to use a different steering system besides the magnets, and one of those 13 dollar toysRus cars just might do the job.

Anyone who pulls this off successfully should be considered the greatest bit char-g user alive.

thanks for your help guys i know that right now everything is quite big but im always trying to get stuff smaller and more compact guess thats why i have tiny speakers with the power of bose lol

some necklaces are very rigid rotationally yet are flexible in all directions...why not use a link from a cheap necklace as a u joint.

thanks guys im working one gettin the money to do this right now im broke because i just bought 2 amps and 2 15in subs for my car so i should have enuff money in a week
