ZZ Motor Vs. Stock 2.2 Microsizer Motor

Why exactly is the Red ZZ motor faster than the Stock 2.2 motor, I'm only getting 21,181 rpm with the red gears and Red ZZ motor, but the stock motor is a 2.2... I don't understand...

I dont know why but the red ZZ motor kicks butt!! I just bought a 2.6 and the red ZZ motor is still faster than it!! Its also faster than the NOS ZZ motor and its like 23,800 rpm. Im going to order a 3.0 and 3.8 and see how the red ZZ motor compares to them, but so far, the red ZZ motor is the fastest ive found for my bit, and I also get great run time with it.

Cool, I think I'm going to get a 3.8 as well... May go to the local hobby shop to pick up a smaller motor, just to compare..

I agree, i bought the 2.6, way slower than the red zip, however my nos motor is a lil faster, but for overall performance red motor with stock gears in my bit is perfect, a little too fast for the small track i have. i have 2 of the zip tracks into one, it just fills up my kitchen table, so i think i need to buy a 3rd track for the additional track pieces so i can do some faster racing, with my red or nos motor its just too fast for the small space, i had to go to the green zip motor to be able to handle the small track, so anyone thinking about buying the zip track, buy 3 at a time to have enough track to make a decent sized course or youll be spending as much time flipping your car back over as time youll be spending driving...

the reason

the reason why teh zz motors are faster in the bit is becuase the zz motors have LOTS and i mean LOTS of torquebut i noticed taht it doenst have too much of a top speed
