controlers

have you noticed that there are two differant controllers for the zip zaps? i have i have two different ones there is an older models serial model 60-7007 and the new one is 60-7008 the older one it better i think it has molded in bumpy things in he controll sticks and they stick out farther also for easyier use my new controler is harder to keep on the throtle because my fingers slip and there isnt uch to hold on to. Just wantd to fill you guys in on this i thought it was kinda interestin that they have two different styles or it might just be the kit. the 7007 controlercame with a 49mhz pt cruiser and my 49mhz mustang has the smooth ones. You tell me if you have a different controler.

i'd be interested in seeing the new controller...

i have a [n unspecified] number of zz's but they all have the same controller style AFAIK...

i believe that no matter what controller any new zz has, the joystick mod is a must... (i can't use 'em otherwise)...

If you dont mind can you read off the FCC ID number of the new one? This would tell if there is any thing different inside.

It proabbly is the same designed inside. I think the FCC requires a change only if an electronic componet changes from the sample the test was done on. But they could have changed that also.

Heres a really bad picture of the new controller, it sticks out about 2-3 millimeters more, and has a roughed up surface on the sticks, its definantly better
