That's quite an interesting steering setup.... I can't figure (just by looking) how it would work.
As there's nothing to go by scale wise in the pics, how big is this car? Would a Micro RS4 be bigger?

the steering set up works this way.. when the servo goes forward, it pushes the rod forward and turns the wheels left.. when the servo moves backwards, its moves the wheels right. the L bar is what shifts the steering mechanism respectively.
as for speed control, im using an older novak racer esc. its a forward only esc with an amp limiter, with no motor limit.
my motor is reverse rotation, trinity midnight motor. i have to use reverse rotation cuz its rear wheel drive.. so im stuck with using motors basically made for the tamiya clod buster. when i get my e-ring clips, ill eventually switch it to a front wheel drive M.. so i can put in better motors.. like a reedy t1 9 turn mod.. HAHA!

oh yeah. its much bigger than a micro rs4. these are 1/10th scale cars of mini coopers.. in actual size, real cars, mini coopers are about 18 inches shorter than mazda miatas. if youve seen the bourne identity.. itll give you an idea of how small they are.. oh yeah, im pretty proud of my first paint job. as of now, the skull is a decal, but im eventually gonna peel that off and paint it black. perhaps today ill be able to post a pic of the car next to my friends micro. mini rs4's are the same size as tamiya minis.. about.

oh yeah, it looks much cooler with the anodized shocks. i have to use the stock ones right now cuz i lost the little ball that goes into the shock that allows it to rotate somewhat.. ill post more pics when i can.. im supposed to be getting a new body soon!

the body im getting is a mini but its got chrome parts/plastic parts (sideview mirror, chrome grill and bumper) and its a genuine tamiya so i think the scale is a little different. i notice on porscheguy's car his body mounts dont stick too far outta the car where as mine its got a good few inches. also suppose to be getting aluminum rims too and when i get my clips.. front wheel drive time and time to switch motors.. dunno. i have two something.. dura something stock motors.. dunno how fast they are. and one tomy zenergy off road motor.. perhaps theyll be faster. oh well. heres a pic of my car next to my friends rs4 for size comparison.
