Charger Problem
Hi, i'm having a problem with the charger on my bit. It worked initially but now it wont.
When I clip the car onto the remote, the light comes on for a fraction of a second then goes off. The car definately doesn't charge after the light goes off. If I quickly put the car on and off over and over again the car will charge a little.
I have tried brand new batteries checked the connections to the charger and checked the battery in the car. Anyone got any ideas what might cause this?
Thanks in advance
Chris

Did you try holding the car down on the charger hard? I found my contacts don't line up perfectly on some of the chassis I have..

Yeah, they line up perfectly and the light doesn't come on if I wiggle it a little. It only comes on if I remove the conection and put it back on.

I have just found out that mondo works at the same company as me! He is gonna bring his charger in to help find out what my problem is.

Charger Blues
Reptilian,
The root of the problem is that you didn't buy a genuine CharG.
You bought a Mao Tse Tsung copy from the Mainland.
That factor alone is what I suspect to be the problem
We'll diagnose the problem tomorrow when my CharG makes its workplace debut.

Putty to fill in the gap made from multiple snaps onto the charging station?
Wait for it to dry (1 day suggested), then sand off the excess.

LOL!
Yea TinyRC the world is small!
snakeman65 made a plan, he hardwired the charging station the the batteries.
He is so in love with that little CharG of his, has it at work on a dialy basis and always zooming it around his desk.
snakeman65 has also invested in some hop-up parts too.
Oh, and he just loves my Micro RS4's - but that's too off topic

I've had to stop bringing it in now, I got shouted at!
While i'm here, does anyone know how to put springs on the suspension without messing up the steering (the extra metal seems to attract the magnet more, hindering steering) other than buying qfm's springs (don't wanna pay that much shipping just for a spring!!).
