New RS cars coming soon

I was in my local RS today looking for Zip Zip hop ups and I got to talking to the salesguy and he told me that at the last meeting they had a few days ago they were show pictures of the new cars and they are F1/Indie type cars slightly bigger than Xmods that went 24mphs. I have no other details. Sorry.

While I'm not a big fan of F1 cars, if they are similar in scale to xmods and able to do 24mph out of the box, they might not be all bad. I like the smaller scale cars, it takes more work and ingenuity to build them up.

I found out more about the Propulse cars. They are going to be 1/10 scale. Two body designs to start off. One similar to a buggy and a Ford F-150. Starter kit will be $99.99 and similar upgrades to the X-Mods will be available.

Oh well, so much for that. I got into micro scale because of the price range and skill needed to mod small stuff. I didn't get into Xmods because they were to big and expensive after all the upgrades. But, $100.00 right off the bat, plus upgrades on a 1/10 vehicle just turns me off completely.

Thanks for the link Steelo,

There is some great news there, the first being 1/18 scale! I'm also very happy that they are not the indie cars previously discussed.

I wonder how expensive these will be. They're going to have to compete with a lot of hobby grade cars.

so these monstrosities are gonna replace xmods? i mean im all for dunebuggies and all... but there are plenty of stuff out there for that market in the RC world... the whole reason why i like xmods is cuz they are in the shape of cars that i can (not afford to) get my hands on... oh wellz... goodbye to something that was great...

ic ic... im thinking about getting into more than just xmods... but iono... i think i want something maybe more powerful... something that can deal with maybe offroading... was gonna go with a xmod truck... but eh... i dont like the f-150 (ford sucks =P) and the h2 is so ugly... i hate GM for straying from the military grade Hummer... and for that so called chevy... the avalanche... uggg... either way... are these things out? and does anyone know much about them?... propulse...

dude i hope your right. Does anyone agree with me that these propulse cars won't get anywhere in the marketing world due to all the big time rc car makers?

iono if they'll be big... but from the RS site... people have been giving them good reviews... ive been looking into the upgrades and stuff... but still nothing for them... so they dont really have anything to sell to mod them yet... =/... still trying to decide wether to get one or not...
