Drift wheels for MT's

I had this cool idea to make pop bottle caps into wheel covers for the MT's and it turns out they allow your MT to drift but i was not likeing the look of them. So heres how to make them look some what cooler. Get 4 caps same size, drill out a small hole in the center of each where the lug nut goes and paint them black a tada u have drift wheels that look nice
SO TELL ME WHAT U THINK

I'd rather add traction, not eliminate it.

It's an interesting idea, I give you credit for that.

But for me I have to agree with Hildy, I'd rather get maximum grip (and torque) for my MT...So it can go over stuff.

an easier way is to just use some black electrical tape, its really slick. i would always do this with my xmod but keep in mind when you take the tape off the tires are pretty much ruined (so much turning traction that it flips over in turns).

i found out the hard way that electrical tape pretty much does ruin ur xmod tires. i tried putting tape on my mt but i couldn't really drift, needs propo. a substitute for electical tape is masking tape, it takes off dirt and doesn't leave ur tires sticky. also after a while the stickyness does wear away.

You can clean the sticky residue off with mineral spirits, or it's common retail name of paint thinner. If you don't have any of that, try rubbing alcohol. Any of these will take the goo right off. But avoid acetone (nail polish remover) and laquer thinners. They could damage the rubber.
