6 cell project
Ok I am planning on doing the 6 cell upgrade and I was wondering where do I connect the wires on the battery pod and do I wire it up in series or parallel..
and one more thing where did you evo guys mount the pod

If you wire in parallel, you're going to need 8 batteries. You have to wire them in series.
What I do is unsolder the red power wire from the pcb and run it to the top. I use that to run to the negative of the extra battery holder. Then run the red wire back and solder it to where you took the original off. I just leave the batteries on the top of the chasis. Once the body is on, it seems to stay pretty snug.

cant I just heat up the soilder on the pcb board and connect the red wire with the red and the black with black?

Nope, that will acutally try to force current through the other two batteries then. You have to break the connection and wire them in series.

yes there is .. I found a tutorial which i am going to use and instead of connecting a plug to the wires on the board I am connecting the battery pod it self to the wire.... http://www.geocities.com/cjoe8090/EV...?1129609504250 ...
