Exclamation im new to the ZIPZAP world

Hello I’m quite new to the ZipZap world I wondered into my local (ok one of 5 local) radio shacks the other day quite bored with a pocket full of cash and these lil cars looked fun, I got one of these Special Edition cars and one of the normal ones. Well I had to take the normal one back because it didn’t turn and I noticed that the special edition car had a motorized turning instead of magnetic, yes so I have two special edition cars now since I had fun with the first
I also bought new bodies and rims for em since that seemed quite fun to be able to change out
I have noticed that the lighted body’s don’t last very long on a charge but one car lasts longer then the other
But well I took these lil cars to the bar and everyone said it was awesome
One thing about this bar people of this area (being north of Detroit) where kids like to drive in fancy cars up and down in front of it, in cars there mommy bought them (ok if my mom felt in here retired age that she wanted to buy me a 2007 mustang id be there too) but in the bar people seemed to think it was quite cool especially because you can change them around em
Change the tires change the rims change the motors and gearing change the body’s
So there thinking lets start a small race one a week we will race em and winner gets a free beer
Well free beer week after week sounds good to me
So how do I beat these suckers and get me some free beer

Generally, you beat them by either driving better, or cheating.

And since you're here, I doubt you're really wanting to spend the time learning to drive better than they do....

The ZZ-SE is pretty limited on mods, and out of the box are slower than the base ZZ; though with a little time spent with the Search function, you'll have the knowlege to be running a real Pro car in no time. First couple weeks, the RS stock upgrade motor and gears will have you walking away from them. Once they start catching up, you've got to start pulling more and more dirty tricks.

Any idea what kind of racing is planned? Drag, Oval, Circuit, Hillclimb, Downhill, Demolition Derby...

Oh and um, as for the free beer week after week, I'd really reccomend sandbagging some of your races; if YOU are the only one that wins, they will get tired of buying your beer if they don't think you will buy their beer. Then they'll just go back to drowning their sorrows alone.

One last thing, don't drink and drive.

The First Anual ZipZap Beer Rally! I like it! Personally, I think it should be a slalom around shot glasses or something, so that there is less speed, and more precision driving involved... and keep it stock, so the racing is tighter, fair, and available to anyone out of the box.

well thank you all for the advice
the rules of the ZipZap Beer Rally are being writen
the track is being made

i should note i have looked at the tracks that everyone has made and have come up with a new idea that was ispired from these old others

i have an old wood pool table that is in horable condition
i was going to toss it out but i had an idea
the table is half inch ply wood and about 4 feet by 8 feet
i shall remove the sides, legs and top sand the table top and
cut the bord in half remove the felt then cut the track into one side and place it on top of the other side
making a track that is sunk into the inch of wood with walls of about 1/2 inch high far to high for a standard car to hop
then paint the servace to resemble a track, and grass and maybe make a pit area and some glass holders
1/2 inch in some areas may turn out to not be enuff wall and for thouse areas i will glue in place on top of the wall the cones i bought thinking they would make a good track(they dont becouse they can be moved)
then i will re attach the legs from the pool table that are retractable and add some handles so the table can be moved with ease
